Sandy Pate Sports Bar preparing for busy week

21 March 2016

Stags’ fans can enjoy an action-packed week at the Sandy Pate Sports Bar this week as the weather begins to brighten.

With Spring firmly here and the days getting lighter for longer, there’s no better way to maximise the daylight than to spend it in the Sandy Pate Bar, to enjoy the food and drink.

On MONDAY, there is a ‘curry and a pint’ deal which is priced at a mere £5.95, and energetic midfielder Mitch Rose will be heading the ‘An Evening with’ event which is sure to bring in the crowds, which includes a topical quiz.

TUESDAY sees the curry replaced by a burger alongside the pint, which is again £5.95. The bar staff will also be running a game of Sticky 13s, with the jackpot standing at £215!

WEDNESDAY also plays host to our poker night – like every day this week, it will be free entry.

On THURSDAY, there will be a reward for the loyalty of our ardent fans, as the club will make a cash draw in the bar. A jackpot of £550 can be won this week and the evening’s host, commercial manager Paul Nyland, will be drawing THREE SEASON TICKET NUMBERS at various times during the evening, giving you multiple chances to win!

To be in with a chance of winning the cash prize, season ticket holders must be present in the bar with their season ticket card. If you decide to spend the evening with us, anyone who purchases a main meal over £5.95 will be eligible for a FREE dessert.

Supporters are reminded that breakfast will also be served on FRIDAY and SATURDAY from 8am-11am. There’s an array of breakfast options including bacon rolls, beans on toast and full English breakfasts, plus many more options all for an affordable price.

On FRIDAY, supporters can listen to the Stags’ crucial Sky Bet League 2 match against Wycombe Wanderers from Adams Park (3pm kick-off). The radio commentary from Mansfield 103.2 will be streamed through the speakers for fans to hear, and it’ll be an exciting atmosphere as we head towards the ‘business end’ of the campaign.

Also on FRIDAY, there will be an entertaining disco and karaoke night which gives supporters the opportunity to belt out their favourite songs to the audience in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar!

Finally, Roy Hodgson’s England are in action on SATURDAY night as they line up against old foes Germany in a friendly at Olympiastadion Berlin at 7.45pm.

The Sandy Pate Sports Bar is located at the back of the Ian Greaves Stand. Parking for all attendees is FREE.
