Kids for a quid offer now available on matchday!

30 December 2015

Supporters aged 17 and under can now watch any of our next three home games for just £1 and can pay on the day of the game!

The club can now confirm that there will be no increase in cost for fans aged 17 and under who pay on the day of the match, as previously stated.

Chairman John Radford said: "We're now allowing young supporters to pay £1 on the day of the game because we want as many people as possible inside the ground to support our promotion push. We're also mindful that money can be scarcer just after Christmas."

Supporters are encouraged to arrive early at the ticket office for this Saturday's match at home to Accrington Stanley (3pm) to avoid long queues.

The club's ticket office is now closed and will re-open on Saturday 02 January at 10am for young supporters who want to take advantage of this superb offer.

For clarification, the offer is applicable to games at One Call Stadium for the following games: Accrington Stanley (Saturday 02 January, 3pm), Stevenage (Saturday 09 January, 3pm) and Luton Town (Saturday 23 January, 3pm) and is available to home fans only.

Fans aged 17 and under must purchase their ticket in person at the ticket office to be entitled to this super-saving ticket.

Identification of age must be produced upon purchase at the ticket office on Quarry Lane.

Supporters are reminded that fans aged under seven are still admitted into One Call Stadium for FREE for every home league game this season, when accompanied by a paying adult, but must buy a ticket at the ticket office before entering the stadium.

Supporters aged 17 and under who have already purchased tickets at full price for the aforementioned matches can exchange their ticket for any home league game this season.

Manager Adam Murray today encouraged the young people of Mansfield to take full advantage of the offer.

“We need the next generation of Stags’ fans to fill the seats at One Call Stadium and need them to make some noise and support their local club,” said Murray.

“The offer which the chairman has made available is a unique opportunity at a professional club at this level.

“Come and enjoy the atmosphere, a good brand of football and a team that is chasing success and one which is on the up.

“We want you to be a part of the future of Mansfield Town. Be a part of a club which is moving forward rapidly.

“We are striving for success here. Now we need the Town to jump on board.”
