Stags set to clock up almost 6,000 miles on the road in Sky Bet League Two.
Mansfield Town will travel precisely 5,996 miles to complete their fixtures in Sky Bet League Two next season.
The distance represents an increase of approximately 100 miles compared to last term and is over 1,500 miles more than what we clocked up on the road during our title-winning 2012/13 campaign.
Our team’s longest journey next term will be a 533.6 round-trip to Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park – a venue where we held to a 1-1 draw on our most recent visit which came back in February.
Other long treks include the 448.4-mile round-trip to Exeter City, a marathon 411.8-mile round-trip journey to Portsmouth and a long 346-mile haul to and from Carlisle United.
The Sky Bet League Two fixture list for the 2014/15 campaign will be released at 9.00am today.
