First Team Staff
Experienced physiotherapist Ross Hollinworth joined the club in January 2018, taking over as head of the medical department.
Graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1999, Ross spent almost two years working in Australia and New Zealand before returning home to study for his Msc qualification in Sports Physiotherapy from Cardiff University, which he attained in 2009.
Whilst studying towards his Msc, Ross worked for Reading Rockets Basketball Club and English Basketball Association at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
He then progressed at EIS and became a senior physiotherapist for UK Athletics.
After leaving EIS, Ross became self-employed and secured contractual physiotherapy work with British Swimming, UK Athletics and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
In January 2010, Ross joined Notts CCC full-time as their head physiotherapist and spent three-and-a-half years at Trent Bridge. Whilst working at the cricket club, Ross acted as a consultant physiotherapist for the England and Wales Cricket Board, which included trips to India and Sri Lanka, as well as lecturing on ECB level four courses.
After leaving Notts, Ross joined Norwich City in July 2013 as academy head of sports science and medicine, where he remained until October 2017.
