Mansfield Town secured the signature of highly-rated defender Matt Preston in May 2018.
Preston moved from Swindon Town to join the Stags, and turned down a number of offers to move to One Call Stadium.
The 23-year-old previously amassed over 40 League One appearances for Walsall, before making the switch to the County Ground in September 2017.
Preston was a mainstay in the Stags' defensive line in the 2018-19 season as Mansfield secured the best defensive record in League Two.
