Shot-stopper Aidan Stone joined the Stags following a spell at Premier League outfit Burnley.
The former Clarets' goalkeeper ended the 2019/20 campaign as Mansfield's first choice 'keeper, but will battle Marek Stech for the jersey this season.
Stone made his Stags' debut in August, a 1-1 draw with Everton under-21s in the Leasing.com Trophy at One Call Stadium.
The 21-year-old made three appearances in the league for the Stags last term, against Newport County, Cheltenham Town and Northampton Town.
