The club places on record its gratitude to Stags Supporters’ Association for their donation of £7,680 for the cost of a new canopy outside Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen.
Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen, located at the rear of the Ian Greaves Stand, is the club’s highly-acclaimed bar & restaurant and is open from midday from every day (excluding Monday).
Director Steve Hymas said: “We’d like to thank the SSA for providing the funds for this new canopy.
“I’m sure it will be most welcomed by our supporters, especially in inclement weather, and should also help alleviate crowding in Sandy’s Bar on a matchday.
“This latest installation is part of the evolving facilities which have materialised at One Call Stadium in recent years.”

In other news, Sandy’s will be open from 8.30am this Saturday to show the Nottinghamshire Derby on its big screens. Breakfast cobs will be served, with the main menu being available from 12noon.
A special drinks’ deal will also be on offer, with any two pints of Carling, Worthington’s or Aspall or any two bottles of Corona, Budweiser or Desperado for £5.
Pork and stuffing cobs and beef and gravy cobs will also be available from 12pm.
