Mansfield Town Football Club are looking to recruit talented young footballers to join our grassroots youth performance teams and shadows’ community training.
The club are hosting trials for young players who are eligible for our under-7s to under-18s youth performance teams ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Mansfield Town youth performance teams play in local grassroots leagues with the under-7s to under-10s in the KicKStart League, under-11s to under-14s in the Young Elizabethan League and under-15s to under-18s in the Notts Youth League.
Players who are not offered a place within our youth performance teams could be offered a place within our shadows’ community training sessions, which could offer a potential pathway into the Mansfield Town performance system.
Shadows’ training sessions offer extra coaching for players already connected to current grassroots teams.
Applications for trials are now open until Friday 26 May. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
There will be limited invitations unlike previous open trials. Confirmation of successful applicants will be communicated by Friday 2 June and will be invited to the trials which will take place at RH Academy in June 2023.
