Mansfield Town under-19s are back in action tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) for a Youth Alliance League fixture against Scunthorpe United at RH Academy (1pm kick-off).
Sam Collins’ side will go into Tuesday’s fixture with a positive mindset following their recent performances on the road against Bolton Wanderers and Doncaster Rovers.
The young Stags produced another fine display in their last outing at Doncaster despite conceding in stoppage time which ultimately meant the two sides shared the points in a 2-2 draw.
Forward Alfie King and attacking midfielder Ronnie Kokkinos were on the scoresheet at Cantley Park Training Ground.
Goalkeeper Louie Turner, right-back Taylor Anderson and forward McKeal Abdullah were once again involved with the first team on Saturday at AFC Wimbledon.
Anderson and Abdullah were named on the bench at Cherry Red Records Stadium whilst Turner travelled with the squad to South West London as Nigel Clough’s third choice ‘keeper behind Scott Flinders and Adam Collin.
Tomorrow's visitors drew 1-1 with Harrogate Town last time out.
