Mansfield Town under-19s are back in action tomorrow afternoon for a Youth Alliance League fixture against Hartlepool United at Blackhall Welfare Park (1pm kick-off).
The young Stags return to league action following Saturday’s 2-1 Youth Alliance Cup Northern Section Final defeat to Rotherham United.
Sam Collins’ side's fixture with the Millers saw forward McKeal Abdullah find the back of the net once again as he continued his rich vein of form.
Despite not keeping a clean sheet, shot-stopper Louie Turner produced a fine display in the Northern Section Final, making several top quality saves to keep his side in the game.
Last time out against this weekend’s hosts, Mansfield’s under-19s secured a 3-0 win in January at RH Academy. Stags’ midfielder Curtis Davies and attackers Alfie King and Abdullah were on the scoresheet.
