Preview: Northampton v Stags

The Stags are in Sky Bet League Two action this Saturday (21 January) away at Northampton (3pm kick-off). Here’s all you need to know…

Midfielder George Maris will be unavailable for this weekend’s trip to Northampton after picking up a red card against Crewe Alexandra.

Captain Ollie Clarke has been back on the grass as he looks to return to training next week following a calf injury. Stags’ fixture against the Cobblers will come too early for the midfielder.

Lucas Akins will be assessed ahead of Saturday’s trip to Sixfields.

Defender Riley Harbottle is sidelined as he continues to recover from a knee injury sustained at home on Boxing Day.

Midfielder Anthony Hartigan is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

The returning Danny Johnson and new additions Callum Johnson and Louis Reed played 45 minutes in a 4-1 win against Barnsley in a midweek friendly and are in contention for Saturday.

Stags’ first signing of the window Alfie Kilgour, featured for 70 minutes against the Tykes at Oakwell.

The referee for Saturday’s match is Geoff Eltringham. Mr. Eltringham will be assisted by James Wilson, Graham Kane and fourth official, Neil Hair.

Tickets can be purchased from the club’s ticket office at One Call Stadium and via telephone 01623 482 482 (opt 1). Tickets are now only available for collection from the ticket office, due to postal strikes.

The club has received a full allocation of 1,477 tickets for the contest.

Ticket prices are as follows:

Adult: £22

Senior (65+): £18

Under-21: £18

Under-18: £10

Under-7: FREE (Must be purchased with an adult)

As the club have received a full allocation, tickets will not be available on the day if all are sold prior to matchday.

The allocation given includes eight pairs of wheelchair disabled and carer tickets.

Tickets go off sale at midday on Friday 20 January.

Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen will be open from 9am till 11am serving bacon and sausage cobs ahead of Stags’ trip to Sixfields.

Our official fans’ club – the Stags Supporters’ Association – are providing family friendly coach travel to Northampton.

Coaches will depart at 11am from One Call Stadium.

Coach prices are as follows:

Amber/Junior Members: £15

Blue Members: £20

Non-Members: £25
