Mansfield Town's scholars and Academy staff brought festive cheer to the residents of local residential care complex, The Oaklands, yesterday.
The boys delivered selection boxes, danced with the residents and enjoyed singing a selection of Christmas songs such as Wham's 'Last Christmas', 'Rocking around the Christmas tree' by Brenda Lee and hit the high notes of Mariah Carey's 'All I want for Christmas is you'.
The Oaklands Complex is managed by an executive committee which consists of volunteer trustees who are regulated by the Charity Commission. The Oaklands Complex is a not-for-profit social enterprise which is a registered charity.
The visit delivered heartwarming joy to the residents who enjoyed the scholars' company.
