The Stags are in Sky Bet League Two action on Good Friday (07 April) away at Swindon Town (3pm kick-off). Here’s all you need to know…
Centre-back Riley Harbottle and midfielder George Maris will be assessed ahead of our trip to Wiltshire.
Full-back Callum Johnson has a 50/50 chance to feature against Swindon as he continues to recover from a knock sustained in Stags’ 3-1 win away to AFC Wimbledon.
Louis Reed is progressing well and Mansfield’s clash with Rochdale on Easter Monday is looking like a possible return date for the all-action midfielder.
Stags’ trip to Swindon will come too early for defender Stephen McLaughlin as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
Forward James Gale will train this week following his absence in our most recent victory against Crawley Town.
Frontman Will Swan is making progress and there is a possibility that the forward will return for the remaining four games. Defender John-Joe O’Toole (foot) will be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
Midfielder Anthony Hartigan is also likely to miss the rest of the season.
The referee for Friday’s match is Thomas Parsons. Mr. Parsons will be assisted by Kevin Morris, Kevin Howick and fourth official, Andrew Laver.
