ME Environmental are pleased to have experienced an uptake in business since winning sponsorship of the North Stand earlier this month.
The independent water treatment and compliance business based in Mansfield won season-long sponsorship of the North Stand in August in the Grand Prize Draw of the 250 Club.
As well as other exclusive prizes, businesses and individuals were entered into a draw for exclusive sponsorship of the North Stand, with ME Environmental eventually drawn as the lucky winners.
Murray Evans (pictured right) of ME Environmental said: “It can’t be a coincidence that since the sign went up [on the North Stand] and was visible to 6,000 Stags’ fans that I had several local enquiries in the first week.
“This shows the value of the sponsorship opportunities at the ground.
“To have the name of my business on the North Stand and to be so visibly associated with the oldest professional football ground in the world makes me feel very proud as a lifelong Stags’ fan.
“For a small local business to be able to have the exposure to thousands of football fans on a weekly basis gives me a great opportunity to grow the business locally.
“It is also nice to see how excited my sons are about this.
“For them to see the sign at a place they know means a lot to me and is starting to mean a lot to them fills me with pride.”
