Mansfield Town under-19s are back in Youth Alliance League action this Saturday with an encounter against Scunthorpe United at RH Academy (11am kick-off).
Speaking to www.mansfieldtown.net, PDP lead coach Sam Collins says he’s been encouraged with recent performances.
"[I’m] Really happy with our performances lately,” said Sam.
"But on the whole, I’m very pleased with the squad at the moment.”
Ahead of Saturday’s match against the Iron, Sam is expecting an easy-on-the-eye encounter between two good footballing sides.
"They are a team who like to get the ball down and play, so it should be a good footballing game.
"Last week they played [different] two formations and we've covered both bases in training this week.”
Saturday’s fixture will take place at RH Academy and will kick-off at 11am. The match can be attended by supporters FREE of charge.
