2 September 2022

The Stags are back in Sky Bet League Two action again this Saturday (03 September) away at Doncaster Rovers (3pm kick-off). Here’s all you need to know…

Speaking after the Stags’ 3-2 win over Manchester City under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday, manager Nigel Clough said: “Hiram [Boateng] is not quite right with his hamstring so another four days will benefit him [ahead of the Doncaster match].

“John-Joe O’Toole injured his foot on Saturday. He’s a doubt for Doncaster.

“Oli Hawkins [has an] illness. It’s a bug so it all depends how he is [before Saturday]. We’ll just have to see how he is in the next few days.”

The last time the two sides met was in December 2021.
