Wembley safety messages

23 May 2022

Please note the following safety notices ahead of our visit to Wembley Stadium this Saturday for the Stags' Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final against Port Vale (4pm kick-off).

Wembley Sensory Room:

If any supporters buying family tickets feel that they may like to/need to use the sensory room at Wembley then please get in touch and we can pass on information about how to access the facility.

Wembley Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO):

The Wembley PSPO states that once you are on the footprint of the stadium (starts on Wembley way and includes all surrounding areas and car parks) drinking in public is not allowed. Anyone with cans or bottles of beer will be advised by police and council officials to discard them or have them confiscated. Drinking in official bars is allowed.

Pyrotechnics:

We are advised by Wembley Stadium Officials that there will be upward of 30 pyrotechnic and drug detection dogs on duty around the ground and at the turnstiles on the day. Please do not take any form of pyrotechnics (smoke canisters) to the game.

Bags and Searching:

We are advised by Wembley Stadium officials that they operate a 100% bag search policy on match days. Also the size of bag allowed into the stadium should be no larger than A4 paper size.

The stadium security team use metal detectors along the approaches to the stadium and random pat down searches of supporters.
