Midfielder Stephen Quinn has signed a new one-year contract at One Call Stadium.

The 36-year-old played a key role in the Stags’ season of progress last term, making 43 appearances in all competitions.

Manager Nigel Clough said: “I thought he had an outstanding season and I’m delighted he’s re-signed.

“Although he may not be playing 40, 50 games next year, he will still be a great influence on and off the pitch.

“Our supporters love watching that sort of player and the passion that he emanates is contagious throughout the dressing room.”
