Defender James Perch will be unavailable for the clash, and midfielder Stephen Quinn is suspended.

Boss Nigel Clough will have skipper Ollie Clarke available for selection after the midfielder served his one-match ban during Saturday’s game at Walsall.

On-loan Sheffield United defender Sam Graham is a doubt for Rochdale this weekend.

The Dale will also be without loan defender Corey O’Keeffe, who is ineligible to feature against his parent club.

PH-RECENTFORM.jpg

The Stags have endured a poor run of recent results after a good start to the season. Last time out, they lost 3-1 away to Walsall.

Rochdale are in strong form heading into the game, with three wins and a draw in their last four matches seeing them sit in sixth place ahead of the game.

PH-LASTTIMEWEMET.jpg

We last faced Rochdale in a Carabao Cup match in 2017, with the Dale winning 1-0 at One Call Stadium.

Rochdale were also the visitors in the last league meeting between the two sides, a 3-0 win for the Stags in Sky Bet League Two. Martin Riley, Matt Rhead and Ryan Tafazolli were on the scoresheet.

PH-MATCHOFFICIALS.jpg

The referee for Saturday’s game will be Carl Boyeson, assisted by Robert Atkin and Marc Wilson. The fourth official will be Johnathon Bickerdike.

Mr. Boyeson last took charge of a Stags’ fixture in our 2-0 loss at Barrow in March 2021.
