Stags still have several absentees for the game against Tranmere.

Experienced defender James Perch remains out for the season with a fractured skull.

Fellow defender Richard Nartey is still another two to three weeks  from returning to action while midfielder Ryan Stirk is set to resume training next week.

Defender George Cooper may feature in tonight’s (Thursday 28 October) under-23s game away at Wigan.

Defender Elliott Hewitt may be available this Saturday, along with left-back Stephen McLaughlin.

Full-back Kellan Gordon is unlikely to return in time for the game.

Attacking midfielder George Lapslie is suspended for the fixture after accumulating five bookings so far this season.

PH-RECENTFORM.jpg

The Stags will be hoping to build on two encouraging performances, against Port Vale and Exeter City.

Tranmere lost their first game in seven league outings last weekend with defeat at Northampton Town.

PH-LASTTIMEWEMET.jpg

We last faced Tranmere at Prenton Park in March 2021.

A goal from Stephen Quinn clinched a point for the Stags after Kaiyne Woolery opened the scoring for Rovers.

PH-MATCHOFFICIALS.jpg

The referee for Saturday’s game will be James Bell, assisted by Richard Atkin and Lisa Rashid. The fourth official will be Lee Freeman.
