Mansfield Town under-18s face Scunthorpe United under-18s this Saturday 04 December (11am kick-off).
The fixture will be Stags’ first in two weeks after last weekend’s game at home to Rotherham United at RH Academy was postponed due to snowy weather conditions in the surrounding areas of both clubs.
The young Stags lost their previous Youth Alliance League fixture 3-2 at home to Bradford City on Saturday 20 November.
Mansfield won three successive league games before the Bradford loss.
Jack Deakin scored a brace for the amber and blue but despite an encouraging second-half display, the Bantams returned to West Yorkshire with all three points.
This Saturday’s opponents, Scunthorpe, sit one place behind the Stags in the Youth Alliance League table in sixth.
The Iron have won two out of their last three league matches.
The venue for the fixture is: Appleby Frodingham FC, Centenary Way, Scunthorpe, DN16 1AA.
There is no admission fee for the game.
