Mansfield Town are looking to recruit a youth reporter for the upcoming 2020/21 season.
The successful applicant will be required to attend all of Stags under-18s’ home and away fixtures and report directly to the club's media and communications department.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Writing match previews
- Providing live goal updates
- Producing detailed match reports
- Conducting interviews with academy manager/member of coaching staff/player following every match
- Producing quotes-led articles using aforementioned interviews
This is a paid role, although candidates will be expected to make their own way to matches.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent journalism graduate or student to gain valuable experience in the field of football reporting.
Experience is preferred but not necessary.
Please note that this role is only suitable for applicants that live within 30 miles of One Call Stadium.
All interviews will be conducted via Zoom call during the week commencing Monday 07 September. Applications close at midday on Sunday 06 September.
