Midfielder Ollie Clarke and striker Danny Rose were on the scoresheet for the Stags this afternoon as they fell to a 4-2 defeat to Premier League Burnley in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
Clarke opened the scoring with a super goal before the Clarets responded through Josh Brownhill before half-time.
After wholesale changes to the Mansfield XI at the break, Burnley added to their lead via a Chris Wood brace and a Bobby Thomas header.
On the stroke of full-time, the amber and blue pulled a late goal back through Rose.
