Stags' under-18s will look to make it three wins from three this weekend when they travel to face Burton Albion.
A 1-0 win over Bradford City on the opening day was followed up with a 2-0 home victory over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Striker Nathan Caine scored his second goal in as many games, with defender Kian Sketchley adding the Stags' second at The RH Academy.
A young Mansfield back-line kept their second successive clean sheet, which they will be looking to replicate this weekend.
Our under-18s last faced Burton away from home in November 2019, recording an impressive 3-2 victory on the road.
Midfielder Shamar Lawson scored twice in the match, before attacker Rio Molyneaux added the third to give Mansfield all three points.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's game, under-18s coach Mike Whitlow said: "Burton will play. They'll try and play the game through the thirds and it'll be an interesting one.
"You always want the lads to get a positive result and show what you're implementing in training.
"Credit goes to our boys at the moment; they're working extremely hard and it's going to be another really good game of football."
