Mansfield Town Football Club are looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic individual as the Academy’s youth development phase lead coach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Head coach of a youth development phase group
- Oversee Academy philosophy from U12-U16s
- To coach and manage age group by planning and preparing all sessions
- Deliver coaching sessions according to the YDP syllabus
- Arrange daily/weekly session plans for coaches within phase
- Progress and develop individual training programme
- Progress and develop bio-banding programme
- Attend all relevant academy meetings throughout the season
- Feedback through video/audio to be presented to players
- Organise all travel to and from games
- Arrange additional fixtures for the FP when necessary
- Load relevant data onto PMA
- Three player parent reviews
- Three player reviews through IDP
- Attend all EFL meetings where necessary
- Observe and support development centres for U12-U16
- Scouting as and when required for YDP phase
- Attend first team and reserve games when possible
- Record playing stats and data where required
- Deal with all player/parenting issues/enquiries
- Drive minibus as and when required
Qualifications - Essential
UEFA A Licence
FA Advanced Youth Award
Enhanced DBS Check
BFAS (current EFAiF)
FA Safeguarding Children Qualification
Clean D1 driving licence
Desirable Personal Attributes:
Previous experience of working within the football or related industry
Coaching education experience
Youth coaching experience
Salary - Competitive salary based on relevant experience.
