Travel guide: Oldham

27 January 2020

Next up the Stags travel to face Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park on Tuesday 28 January (7.45pm). Heading to the game? Here's your travel guide...

The 67-mile journey should take approximately one hour and 45 minutes by car.

The Latics play at Boundary Park, Furtherwood Road, Oldham. The stadium has a capacity of 13,512 (all seated). The relevant postcode for the ground is OL1 2PA.

There is only parking for permit holders at the ground. Matchday parking is available at the Oldham Royal Hospital at a cost of £5. Alternatively, there is also the option of renting a private driveway close to the ground via YourParkingSpace.co.uk.

There are some pubs in the vicinity of the ground, the closest being the Clayton Green, which is a Brewers Fayre outlet, and the Greyhound Inn. Within the ground, the usual food and drinks are available, with the pies being recommended.

The Latics have kindly slashed prices for the fixture, which was also the case when we visited Boundary Park towards the end of the 2018/19 season.

The Stags have received an allocation of 606 tickets for the game, with prices as follows:

Adult: £5
Senior (65+):
£5
Students:
£5
Under-21:
£5
Under-18:

Wheelchair disabled supporters’ tickets will also cost £5. Ambulant disabled supporters pay per relevant age category but are entitled to one free carer ticket if on the higher rate of living allowance.

Tickets will be available to purchase from Oldham on the day of the game at no extra price increase.

The Stags Supporters' Association are offering family-friendly coach travel to Boundary Park at the following rates:

All SSA members: £10
Non-members: £20

The coach will depart from Sandy's Bar & Kitchen at 3:30pm. To book your place, call the SSA hotline on 07967 689597.
