On Monday 17 February we will host a Talent ID Open Day for the club's Elite Football Development programme, based at Brooksby Melton College.
During the day, players will participate in a strength and conditioning session, a training session and an 11 versus 11 game.
Participants will also meet the coaches and lecturers, while also getting a closer look into what the programme involves.
The Elite Football Development programme is designed for 16-21 year olds and based at the Brooksby Campus.
This is also a great opportunity for students and parents to find out more about the partnership between the Stags and Brooksby Melton College.
Unlike competing programmes where a two to three-year route is offered for Level 2 or 3 Sport or Sports Science, Brooksby Melton College can provide a five-year route which gives players the opportunity to continue to combine Football with their studies as they earn a BSc in Sports Science, accredited by the University of East Anglia.
For those that then wish to get into teaching, BMC gave even offer the chance to progress on to a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education, with the possibility of a placement at the college.
