Stags’ reserves are in action on Tuesday 04 February when they welcome Walsall reserves to The RH Academy for a Central League clash (2pm).
Mansfield sit third in the Central League standings ahead of the match, having achieved a win and a draw from their opening two matches.
The Saddlers are yet to win in the Central League this season but sit just two points behind the Stags, having picked up two draws.
One of Walsall’s two draws in the league this term came against the amber and blue when the sides met in October.
James Hardy gave the Saddlers the lead before striker Jordan Graham marked his return to action with a late goal to force a 1-1 draw.
With a win, Mansfield could rise to as high as first position in the Central League table. The Stags could overtake leaders Grimsby Town on goal difference, despite currently having played two games less than the Mariners.
The Saddlers will be looking to achieve their first win of the campaign, following a narrow 3-2 defeat to fifth-placed Doncaster last time out.
