Preview: Leyton Orient vs Stags

11 February 2020

The Stags travel to London on Tuesday 11 February for their latest Sky Bet League Two fixture, against Leyton Orient at the Breyer Group Stadium (7.45pm kick-off). Here's all you need to know ahead of the clash...

The game will come too soon for midfielder Alex MacDonald, who suffered a hamstring injury in the recent 2-2 draw with Carlisle United.

Defender Hayden White will continue to be assessed ahead of the fixture, while fellow full-back Kellan Gordon will miss out due to a back injury.

The O's will be without Sam Ling and Dean Brill for the fixture.

Mansfield were held to a 1-1 draw against Morecambe last time out. Defender Joe Riley’s first goal for the club saw the Stags lead until the 86th minute, when Alex Kenyon fired home from a corner.

After a 3-0 win away from home against Stevenage, Leyton Orient drew 1-1 with Macclesfield at the weekend. The Silkmen scored in added time to prevent the O’s from putting together back-to-back wins in Sky Bet League Two.

Last time we met.png

We last faced Orient at One Call Stadium in August 2019. Two Danny Rose penalties had the Stags two goals ahead at the break, but three second-half strikes saw the visitors win 3-2.

Street parking is available, although be aware of a Residents Only zone in the streets around the ground. Check signposts for any restriction information. There is also the option of renting a private driveway in the local area via yourparkingspace.co.uk.

The usual food is available on the away concourse, but alcohol is not on sale inside the ground to visiting supporters. There is a Supporters Club at the ground that does admit small numbers of visiting supporters at a cost of £1, but this soon becomes very busy. There are plenty of eating and drinking options near to the ground, along the High Road.
