Mansfield Town Football Club can confirm this season’s squad numbers ahead of their first competitive fixture in 175 days.
Stags take on Preston North End this afternoon in the first round of the Carabao Cup following their last professional fixture, away to Northampton Town in Sky Bet League Two on 07 March.
League Two clubs voted to end the 2019-20 season in May following the coronavirus pandemic and final league standings were determined via a points-per-game basis.
Since then, Mansfield boss Graham Coughlan has rebuilt his squad, which features 10 new signings, as the Stags aim to improve on last season’s final position of 21st in Sky Bet League Two.
Town’s first league game is at home to Tranmere Rovers on 12 September
