Mansfield Town Ladies return to action on Wednesday 23 October, as they travel to Woodland Ladies for their third East Midlands Regional League fixture of the campaign (7.30pm kick-off).
The Stagettes come into the game unbeaten so far in the league, having earned four points from their opening two matches.
They kicked off their campaign with a 2-2 draw with Peterbrough United before seeing off Rise Park 4-1 away from home.
Woodlands find themselves at the foot of the table heading into the fixture, although have only played one match so far this season.
Speaking ahead of the clash with Woodlands, winger Zoe Meyrick said: “The new additions have fit in well because we’ve brought in players who play in positions that we may have needed last year.
“Compared to last season, it took us some time to gel at the start of the year. It’s different this year – I feel like we’re all a lot more motivated to try and progress this season.
“To get into the top three would be great. I feel like last year’s league position didn’t reflect what we played like, but we are proving ourselves this season.
“We have another tough game coming up [against Woodlands] but hopefully we’ll do well.”
The game will take place at the following venue: Anderson Electrical Arena, Derby, DE21 7PH.
