Mansfield Town and Sandy's Bar & Kitchen have teamed up with Dalmatian Systems - along with other local businesses - to support the Christmas Sock Appeal 2019, set up to help the Mansfield soup kitchen.
The idea is simple: fill a sock with some essential items and use the other as a stopper - that way there is no packaging to harm the environment.
A few ideas for suggested items could be...
Socks
Pocket tissues/wet wipes
Chocolate bar/cereal bar
Hand warmers
Foot warmers
Gloves
Wooly hat
Mini hand cream
Dog treats/toys/leads/collars/dog bowls
You can drop off your Christmas Socks, all of which will be donated to the Mansfield soup kitchen, at Sandy's Bar & Kitchen seven days a week. Opening times for Sandy's are as follows:
Monday until Friday: 12noon until 11pm (serving from 12noon until 9pm)
Saturday: 9am until 11.45am (breakfast) and open until 11pm
Sunday: 12noon until 5pm (Sunday menu) and then until 9pm
