Travel guide: Macclesfield

14 November 2019

Next up for the Stags is a trip to face Macclesfield Town in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday 16 November (3pm). Going to the game? Here's our travel guide...

The 52-mile journey should take approximately one hour and 30 minutes by car.

The Silkmen play at The Moss Rose, London Road, Macclesfield.  The capacity of the ground is 6,335, with 2,599 seats. The relevant postcode for the ground is SK11 7SW.

There is only street parking around and behind the ground. A very safe place to park is in the Lyme Green Retail Park, which is only about 300 yards south of the ground down the London Road or on the London Road itself.

The Keith Alexander Bar at the ground offers food and drink to home and away supporters. There are two pubs within a ten-minute walk of the ground and these are the Golden Lion and the Railway View. Inside the ground, the usual matchday food is available with the addition of locally sourced pies.

The Stags have received an allocation of 600 tickets for the clash. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the game from Macclesfield at no extra cost.

Full ticket information for the fixture can be found by clicking here.

The Stags Supporters' Association will be providing family-friendly coach travel to the Moss Rose. Prices are as follows:

All SSA members: £15
Non-SSA members: £20

The coach will depart from Sandy's Bar & Kitchen at 11am on Saturday morning. To book your seat, call the SSA hotline on 07967 689597.
