Preview: Stags vs Chorley (Emirates FA Cup)

8 November 2019

The Stags are in Emirates FA Cup action this weekend when they welcome Chorley to One Call Stadium for a First Round clash (3pm). Here’s all you need to know ahead of the game…

Manager John Dempster confirmed that striker Danny Rose could play some part in the fixture following a recent ankle injury, after returning to training this week.

The game will likely come too soon for defenders Hayden White and Krystian Pearce, though, along with frontman Craig Davies.

Last time out, the Stags suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Colchester United in Sky Bet League Two, following a positive spell in October, during which the amber and blue picked up three victories.

The Magpies faced Barnet in their last fixture, succumbing to a 2-1 defeat, despite opening the scoring through Marcus Carver.

Chorley made it to the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup by way of a 2-0 victory over Spennymoor Town at Victory Park.

The referee for Saturday’s match will be Savvas Yianni, assisted by James Mainwaring and Richard Bartlett. The fourth official will be Simon Mather.

Admission prices have been lowered for the fixture and are as follows:

Adult: £15
Concessions (under-18 & 65+): £10
Under-12: £5

Season ticket holders’ seats were reserved until midnight on Wednesday 30 October, but all tickets are now on general sale.

Disabled supporters are eligible for a free carer ticket if on the higher rate of disabled living allowance.

The easiest way to purchase tickets is online via Alternatively, call our ticket office on 01623 482 482 (option 1), or visit us in person on Quarry Lane.

Tickets will be available to purchase on the day from One Call Stadium at no extra price increase.

Family tickets are only available for league matches at One Call Stadium and are therefore not available for Saturday's fixture.

The newly-refurbished Sandy’s Bar & Kitchen will open at 9am, serving all-you-can-eat breakfast for just £4.75 until 11.45am.

Following this, the bar will not serve food from its main menu, but a selection of matchday food will be available from 12pm.

The bar will begin to serve food from its main menu after the full-time whistle.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available for both home and away supporters, and the bar is located at the rear of the Ian Greaves Stand.

The bar will remain open until 11pm after the match.

Supporters will also be able to purchase an FA Cup edition of our new-look matchday programme The Stag for just £2 prior to Saturday's game.
