Preview: Stags vs Chorley (Emirates FA Cup)

8 November 2019

The Stags are in Emirates FA Cup action this weekend when they welcome Chorley to One Call Stadium for a First Round clash (3pm). Here’s all you need to know ahead of the game…

Team news.png

Manager John Dempster confirmed that striker Danny Rose could play some part in the fixture following a recent ankle injury, after returning to training this week.

The game will likely come too soon for defenders Hayden White and Krystian Pearce, though, along with frontman Craig Davies.

Last time out, the Stags suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to Colchester United in Sky Bet League Two, following a positive spell in October, during which the amber and blue picked up three victories.

The Magpies faced Barnet in their last fixture, succumbing to a 2-1 defeat, despite opening the scoring through Marcus Carver.

Chorley made it to the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup by way of a 2-0 victory over Spennymoor Town at Victory Park.
