Travel guide: Newport

8 May 2019

Stags make the trip to South Wales on Thursday 09 May to face Newport County in the first leg of their Sky Bet League Two play-off semi-final (7.45pm kick-off).

The 159-mile journey should take approximately two hours and 55 minutes by car.

The Exiles play at Rodney Parade, Newport, Gwent. The stadium has a capacity of 7,850 (5,421 seats). The relevant postcode for the ground is NP19 0UU.

There is no parking available at the ground. Most supporters park in side streets near the stadium (please be aware of any parking restrictions), or use the multi-storey car parks in the town centre and take the short walk over the footbridge to Rodney Parade.

The closest pub to the away entrance is the Excelsior Institute on Corporation Road, which is approximately a five minute walk from the ground.

The clubhouse inside the ground allows away fans to enjoy a drink before and after the game. There are food kiosks and burger stands located in the stadium concourse where you can purchase food and drink.

The Stags have received a total allocation of 1,036 tickets for the clash.

This is the maximum allocation and no tickets will be available after this allocation is sold, Newport have confirmed.

Tickets will not be available to purchase on matchday from Rodney Parade.
