Mansfield Town will face Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest in a pre-season friendly at One Call Stadium on Tuesday 23 July (7.45pm kick-off).
Martin O'Neill's side finished ninth in the Championship table last season.
The confirmation of the fixture against Nottingham Forest follows news that the Stags will also face Championship side Blackburn Rovers at One Call Stadium on Wednesday 17 July (7.30pm kick-off).
