Travel guide: Exeter

27 March 2019

We make our longest away trip of the season on Saturday, as we travel to face Exeter City in Sky Bet League Two. Going to the game? Here's our comprehensive travel guide...

The 224-mile journey should take approximately three hours and 53 minutes by car.

The Grecians play at St James Park, Stadium Way, Exeter, Devon. The stadium has a capacity of 8,500 (3,600 seated). The relevant postcode for the ground is EX4 6QF.

There is no on-site parking at St James Park, whilst residential streets around the ground are reserved for permit holders only. However, there are a few car parks near the ground. There is the King William Street car park (NCP), and there are car parks just off Western Way on Parr Street, Belmont and Belgrave Road. There is also the Bampfylde Street car park and the Triangle car park (accessed from Clifton Road). These are all about five to ten minutes' walk from the ground.

There is a social club at the ground itself, which allows away supporters. Outside the Ivor Doble Stand, there is a small FanZone which away fans can use. It has a mixture of eating and drinking outlets, plus alcohol can be purchased. The nearest pubs to the ground are the St Anne's Well on Well Street, and about a ten minute walk away on Stoke Hill is the Stoke Arms. Kiosks serve the usual food and drink within the ground.

Stags have received an initial allocation of 182 seated tickets and 200 terrace tickets.

Tickets can be bought on matchday from Exeter City, at a £1 increase in all age categories.
