Stags' reserves travel to face Grimsby Town reserves on Tuesday for a Central League clash at Blundell Park (2pm kick-off).
Last time out, a mixed Mansfield lineup were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Doncaster Rovers at Alfreton Town's Impact Arena.
However, a youthful Stags' outfit recorded an impressive 3-1 victory over Morecambe reserves the game prior. Nyle Blake, Kian Sketchley and Tyrese Sinclair were on target for the amber and blue.
The Stags last faced this week's opponents - Grimsby - back in October, and recorded a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Tom Fielding effort.
The Mariners lie bottom of the table heading into the clash, yet hold games in hand over several of the teams above them. Grimsby hold two games in hand over the Stags, who currently sit fifth in the Central League North standings.
Last time out, Grimsby played out an enthralling 3-3 draw with third-placed Wigan Athletic.
