Mansfield Town’s club shop will begin the sale of Jordan Smith’s replica GluPro goalkeeping gloves ahead of this evening’s clash against Lincoln City.
The ‘keeper, on loan from Nottingham Forest, dons the GluPro brand whenever he takes to the field and Stags’ fans will now be able to purchase such gloves this evening.
The gloves will be available from the club shop, which is located in front of the Quarry Lane stand adjacent to the ticket office.
Smith, commenting on GluPro gloves, said: “It’s an exciting project that I’m really excited to bring to Mansfield Town and the people of Mansfield.
“I’ve been on board for just over four years now. It’s something where I’m allowed to have a play with a design and what I want to tweak.
“There is also a potential for an actual Mansfield glove, with the Mansfield badge, that people could look out for – but there’ll be my designs in the shop that people can try.
“It is also for all ages. That’s something that we pride ourselves on; every single glove that comes out of the batch is of professional quality and will be ones that I wear on a Saturday.”
The gloves will be available in both adult and youth sizes, priced at £25 and £20 respectively.
