Our under 21s' 10 day pre-season training camp in southern Portugal is underway
Our second string have already been put through their paces by under 21s' sports therapist Tom Chapman, head of recruitment Jamie McGuire and academy goalkeeping coach Sam Wilson.
Once acclimatised to their new surroundings, the boys set off to the site's gymnaisum before being challenged by an injury prevention and strength and conditioning session.
Our staff, led by manager John Dempster, were also booked onto an early flight this morning from East Midlands airport, landing in Portugal at approximately 10.30am local time.
Due to the extensive numbers travelling from the club, the first team squad have had to take a separate, later flight this evening to Portugal, under the guidance of fitness coach Daryl Taylor and goalkeeping coach Ian Pledger.
