Mansfield Town are recruiting talented young players for a football education degree course at Brooksby Melton College.
Players will be based at Brooksby Melton College under the guidance of Mansfield Town coaches.
Training will occur on Mondays Tuesdays, and Fridays every week, with a match to be played on Wednesday. The under-21 higher education group currently compete in the BUCS Football League.
Thursday will be a full-education day, along with education sessions on weekdays, with students working towards a degree in FdSc Sports Science.
The degree provides a specialist programme that will allow students to develop a higher level of understanding in sports science and excel in the areas of strength and conditioning, performance analysis and coaching.
Academy coach Jamie McGuire, who works closely with the under-21 higher education group, said: "The positives of this course are that students are trained by Mansfield Town coaches and they get a degree out of it after two years.
"During the course, we invite non-league clubs to come and watch the players, so there are many opportunities that this course can produce."
Applicants must be aged 18-21 to apply for the course.
