Match preview: Forest Green Rovers vs Stags

29 January 2019

Stags make the trip to face Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday 29 January for the rearranged Sky Bet League Two fixture (7.45pmkick-off). Here's all you need to know ahead of the clash...

Stags will be without defender Hayden White, who suffered a broken leg in the recent victory over Colchester.

The duo of Alex MacDonald and David Mirfin will miss out as the pair continue their recoveries from knee injuries.

Goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik has been ruled out for the season with an anterior cruciate ligament rupture, so will miss out.

Striker Craig Davies, who has an ankle injury, will also be absent.

Forest Green will be without midfielder Dayle Grubb for the clash.

Stags recorded a resounding 3-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers in their most recent clash at One Call Stadium. Attacking midfielder Jorge Grant scored twice in the game, with striker Tyler Walker netting the other goal. Saturday's victory was the Stags' third successive win.

Last time out, Forest Green recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory away to Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two. They have scored five and conceded none in their last two matches, winning 3-0 at home to Grimsby the week prior.
