Important derby day information

13 February 2019

Supporters attending Saturday’s Nottinghamshire Derby are advised of the following information.

Notts look forward to welcoming our fans and, with the away end at its capacity, they have supplied us with the below guidance.

No tickets remaining

There will be strictly no tickets available to buy on the day. Please do not travel to the match without one.

Any Stags' supporters found to be in home areas will be ejected from the stadium and WILL NOT under any circumstances be relocated to the away end.

In the interests of the safety of all supporters, we are in dialogue with Notts to ensure any Stags' supporters who have purchased tickets in home areas are refunded in advance of matchday.

Entering the stadium

Queues at the turnstiles will be busy, especially close to kick-off, and supporters are therefore encouraged to enter the stadium as early as possible.

Please be advised that search detection dogs will be stationed outside turnstiles around the ground and anyone attempting to bring any prohibited items into the stadium will be refused entry and could be arrested. No refunds will be given to supporters who are denied access to the stadium on matchday.

Turnstiles open at 11.30am and supporters should check the turnstile number printed on their ticket before joining the queue.

Supporters are asked to retain their ticket after entering the stadium to help them find their allocated seat (see below for more information).

Finding your allocated seat

It is essential supporters sit in the seat shown on their ticket.

To help you find your way, an entrance number which corresponds with signage inside the concourse is printed on your ticket.

Stewards will be checking tickets as you head into the stand to ensure you’re in the correct area.

Refreshments

Refreshments are available inside the concourse, with contactless payment in operation.

With such a large away following expected, the concourses will be very busy so please take your seat if you are not utilising any of the facilities.

No alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase after the match kicks off. A range of soft drinks and other refreshments will be on offer at the kiosks.

Road closure

County Road, Iremonger Road and Cattle Market Road will be closed from 12.30pm-1pm to ensure supporters are able to enter the stadium safely.

Parking is not suspended on Iremonger Road, however no vehicles will be able to exit any car parks on that road from 2.30pm until it is deemed safe.

Exit from the Cattle Market area on to Cattle Market Road and County Road will be prevented for approximately 20 minutes following the game’s conclusion.

Exit on to Meadow Lane from the Cattle Market area will be unaffected.
