Nyle Blake opened the scoring in the first-half, with Kian Sketchley and Tyrese Sinclair both finding the net in the second period.
The win elevated the Stags up to fifth in the table, one point behind this weekend's opponents, Doncaster.
Rovers recorded a narrow loss against Port Vale last time out, yet this followed a three-match unbeaten streak.
The last time Stags faced Doncaster was back in December, with Mansfield recording a 4-2 win. Jimmy Knowles scored in the first-half, with his strike being followed by a Tyrese Sinclair brace and a Tom Fielding effort.
