Hoofers Comedy Night (Friday 29 March)

11 February 2019

It's that time of the month again, don't miss our next fantastic Hoofers Comedy Club night on Friday 29 March 2019, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

This is one night not to be missed.

Opening the night is Newcastle's best export since Brown Ale.

Gavin Webster's style of comedy is loud, sharp and controversial - and audiences love him for it.

A definite Geordie, Gavin has superb stage presence. His material is bold and provocative yet delivered in a charming manner - which has brought him much praise and attention.

'Funny, clever and as brilliantly observed as you'll find' (The Scotsman)

'Palpably funny' (The Herald)

'His daftness is little short of surreal genius' (The Stage).

The MC for the night is the very funny Ben Briggs,
Ben started stand up comedy in 2008 and quickly established himself as one of the hardest working comedians in the country.

His likeable stage presence and sharp material has made him in demand as an act and compere up and down the country.

Open and honest in his material he has progressed onto paid 20s and is a solid compere for any club.

Ben has appeared at the Birmingham, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Leicester comedy festivals.

'... the quietly confident, appealing and quick-witted Ben Briggs. With his amazingly funny stories he takes his audience on a hilarious journey' (Funhouse Comedy).
