Travel guide: Carlisle

14 August 2019

We travel to face Carlisle United on Saturday 17 August for our next Sky Bet League Two fixture (3pm kick-off). Going to the game? Here's our travel guide...

The 173-mile journey should take approximately three hours and nine minutes by car.

The Cumbrians play at Brunton Park, Warwick Road, Carlisle. The stadium has a capacity of 17,949 (1,728 standing). The relevant postcode for the ground is CA1 1LL.

Carlisle have informed us that, following the recent bad weather, they expect the supporters' car park to be closed for this weekend's game.

Limited street parking is available in the areas around the stadium, but supporters should be aware of parking restrictions.

More parking is available at the Rosehill Industrial Estate (CA1 2RW) opposite Tesco, and this is roughly a 20 minute walk from the ground.

The club have been informed that the Carlisle Rugby Club on Warwick Road has parking available for away supporters.

The Carlisle Rugby Club also has a club bar, which allows away supporters and is family friendly. Also on Warwick Road is the Beehive, which allows away supporters.

Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks - along with hot and cold food - are served from the kiosks in the away stand at Brunton Park. Visiting supporters are also welcome in the Sunset Suite Bar at the stadium, which shows live football on big screens and is situated on the west side of the ground.

The Stags have received an allocation of 414 tickets for the clash.

Full ticket information can be found here.

The Stags Supporters' Association will be providing family-friendly coach travel to Brunton Park. Prices are as follows:

Amber members: £20
Blue members: £25
Non-members: £30

To book your seat, call the SSA hotline on 07967 689597. The coach will depart from Sandy's Bar & Kitchen at 8.15am.
