Stags' under-18s travel to face Rotherham United under-18s on Saturday 10 August for their first away EFL Youth Alliance fixture of the season at Roundwood Sports Complex (10:30am kick-off).
Mansfield sit third in the table after drawing their opening game of the season, two points off early leaders Doncaster Rovers.
Last time out, the Stags overturned a two-goal deficit to claim a deserved point at home to Chesterfield.
In a game of two halves, the amber and blue found themselves two goals behind, but rescued a draw thanks to second-half goals from Jimmy Knowles and substitute Ryan Ingram.
The Stags will be looking for their first win of the campaign when they face Rotherham - who finished 11th last season - this weekend.
Last time the two teams met, the sides could not be separated, drawing 2-2 at Roundwood in March.
This will be Rotherham’s first game of the season on Saturday and Stags’ under-18s coach Simon Ward is expecting a tough test.
Speaking after Saturday's draw with Chesterfield, he said: “It’s a different kind of challenge. They play in League One, so their recruitment is a little bit different. It’s a big catchment area so we should be playing against good footballers, but we have also good footballers in the building.”
Supporters are welcome to attend this Saturday’s match, which kicks off at 10:30am at the following venue: Roundwood Sports Complex, Green Lane, Rawmarsh, Rotherham S62 6LA.
