We have achieved ‘Gold Award Status’ from the EFL for our ‘remarkable work in engaging families on matchdays’, we are proud to announce today.
It follows our recent crowning as League Two’s Family Club of the Year.
In their communication to the club, the EFL said: “Mansfield’s Family Area and the introduction of a new Family Room has enhanced the Club’s matchday experience”.
The new gold status was awarded because of ‘remarkable work in engaging families on matchdays’, the League said.
Operations director Tina Broughton said: “We’re immensely proud to have achieved Gold status for our matchday family experience.
“As a club, we endeavour to attract families to One Call Stadium and our aim is for them to enjoy a memorable matchday experience.
“We are a family-friendly club and want as many people as possible to enjoy what we have to offer on a home matchday."
Tina added: “Danielle Hett, the club’s supporters’ liaison officer, again deserves great credit for her work within the family area.”
