The new RH Academy – at Woburn Lane in Pleasley – is ready to stage the area’s biggest junior football tournament this Easter weekend and spectators are invited to enjoy a sun-drenched weekend at the new venue.
The competition will take place from 10am until 4pm on both Saturday 20 April and Sunday 21 April at the highly-acclaimed training complex. Entry is FREE.
Over 360 kids, from ages seven to 12, are set to compete in mini-leagues followed by knock-out rounds.
Director Steve Hymas is encouraging spectators to visit the academy ahead of a glorious weekend.
“Everyone is welcome to attend this inaugural competition at the RH Academy which is set to be a great day for young players and spectators alike.
“There will be a whole range of activities for people all of all ages to enjoy, including a barbeque, bouncy castle and penalty shoot out competition.”
“The sun is out this weekend, so don’t forget your sunglasses,” he added.
The site also includes a licensed bar. Parking at RH Academy is just £1 per vehicle.
