To coincide with Kick It Out’s Week of Action, this Saturday’s family activities at One Call Stadium are focused on inclusion and togetherness.
EFL clubs have been supporting the Week of Action, which began last Saturday and concludes on Sunday, to demonstrate the League’s ongoing commitment to equality and inclusion across all areas of the game.
Supporters’ liaison officer Danielle Hett said: “On Saturday we’ll be focusing on togetherness and inclusiveness, regardless of our own unique differences.
“We understand that everyone is different and feel that should be celebrated, which is what our activities are centred around this afternoon.
“Together we will design a piece of art, which shall be displayed in the family room for seasons to come, a project that every child in the family room has helped to create.”
Football For All will also be in attendance on Saturday, explaining who they are and what they do. The group is focused on creating a level playing field for all in football and wish to make all feel welcome at One Call Stadium.
Also, at half-time of Saturday’s match, Mansfield Town girls’ under-13s team will take part in a penalty shootout!
Our family room is open for those with a family ticket on Saturday, but children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The sensory area, built for those prone to experiencing a sensory overload, will also be available for those with a family ticket to use.
Our family room has free fruit for our young Stags, which will be available during every home matchday.
Family tickets can be purchased for all remaining home matches this season, and admit one adult and one child to the game for just £18.
Each family ticket also comes with a redeemable confectionery voucher, which can be handed in at Kiosk Two in exchange for a Sammy the Stag treat!
